Directions
To the Rod-N-Reel Dock: Take Route 4 east beyond Wayson's Corner until you reach Route 260 where you take the new right exit towards Chesapeake Beach. Follow Route 260 to the traffic light in Chesapeake Beach and then turn right on Route 261 for about 1/2 mile. Turn left at the next traffic light (Mears Ave.) and then take the first left into the Rod-N-Reel complex. The "Debra Christine" will be almost in front of the tackle shop, near the fuel dock.
FALL ONLY
To Point Lookout:Take Rt. 235 south through Lexington Park to Ridge. Turn right at flashing light, then turn left immediately onto Wynne Rd. Proceed about 1 mile and then turn right on Davis Lane which ends at the dock.
EARLY WINTER ONLY
To Virginia Beach: From the DC area, most of us will take Interstate 95 South to Interstate 295 (Richmond Beltway) South to Interstate 64 East through the Hampton Roads area to Interstate 264 East, which ends in Virginia Beach.
To the Days Inn (1000 Atlantic Ave., Virginia Beach, VA 23451, telephone 800-843-7096): Once in Virginia Beach, proceed to Atlantic Avenue and turn right. The hotel will be on your right at 10th St. Ask for the "Fisherman's Rate" ($25 per room plus tax).
To Fisherman's Wharf Marina (524 Winston Salem Ave., Virginia Beach, VA 23451, telephone 757-428-2111): Fisherman's Wharf Marina is located in Rudee Inlet, which is at the south end of Virginia Beach. Once in Virginia Beach (where Interstate Route 264 ends), take a right at the 3rd light onto Mediterranean Ave. Follow Mediterranean Ave. until it ends (just in front of Rockafeller's Restaurant) and take a left onto Winston Salem Ave. Take an immediate right into the parking lot of Dirty Dick's Restaurant. The Debra Christine is located to the left of the restaurant on C Dock. Please park in the back row of the parking lot closest to the street).
